Nutrition Response Therapy and Integrative Manual Therapy are approaches to healthcare supported by science and clinical experience and backed by thousands of years of wisdom and practice. At one time, these were considered traditional medicine.
These techniques combine the rich knowledge of acupuncture and eastern medicine with modern breakthroughs in anatomy, physiology, neurology, kinesiology and biochemistry to analyze current health status. These time-honored therapeutic and preventative methods are designed to support your body so it can protect and heal itself in the way it was designed. Nutrition Response Therapy and Integrative Manual Therapy are not diagnostic.
Nutrition response testing is a test in which I apply small pulses of pressure (with my hands) to the body’s neurological reflexes and acupressure points. Each reflexive response represents a different organ, tissue, or function. The quality of the response communicates their state of health.
From this technique, I can pinpoint the body’s dysfunction and determine the best treatment program. I apply nutritional supplements, herbal remedies, homeopathic medications, and diet or lifestyle changes to address the root causes of pain and disease.
This technique is effective because our bodies are pulsing with electrical activity. The human brain sends electrical synapses over the central nervous system to regulate virtually all human activity, including internal repair and regeneration. Nutrition Response Testing is a non-invasive, scientific system to analyze health and support your body’s ability to function the way it is designed.
To be clear, Nutrition Response Therapy is an approach to healthcare supported by science and clinical experience and backed by thousands of years of wisdom and practice. At one time, these were considered traditional medicine. Nutrition Response Therapy is not diagnostic.
Integrative Manual Therapy uses gentle, hands-on bodywork on all systems in the body—bone, nerve, fascia, muscle, organ, lymph and circulatory—to encourage healing.
Our bodies were designed with the ability to repair themselves under the correct circumstances. Tissue repair at the cellular level is a normal function of the human body. However, pain and dysfunction are an indication that there is too much cellular damage for your body to restore on its own. Often, dysfunction in one system can impact or be influenced by dysfunction in another.
Rather than focusing solely on the symptoms, integrative manual therapy utilizes gentle, manipulative techniques to identify and address all the systems that are contributing to a health issue to facilitate healing throughout the entire body.
Integrative manual therapy techniques are predominantly hands-on, but often combine a wide range of treatment technologies, nutritional programs, and body-based psychotherapeutic approaches to develop a customized solution for an individual patient’s needs.
